Matt E., PT, is the Managing Partner of MVPT Physical Therapy – Belfast and MVPT Physical Therapy – Bangor. Originally from Winterport, Maine, Matt received most of his training in Nashville, Tennessee. He then moved back to his hometown with his wife to start a family and continue his passion as a physical therapist. Matt received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of New Hampshire in Exercise Physiology and his post-graduate degree from North Georgia College and State University in Physical Therapy.
He has been a therapist for over 20 years. He became a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist in 2007. In 2014, Matt was a committee member that brought dry needling to physical therapy in the State of Maine. Matt enjoys playing hockey, skiing, snowboarding, brewing, and is a active volunteer ski patroller at Big Moose Mountain in Greenville. Matt currently lives in Winterport with his wife and son.
