John A., PT, DPT, OCS graduated from the University of Delaware with a Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy.
Having spent his entire life in and around athletics, playing football for many years, and spending many hours in the training room and PT clinic, John became interested in helping others who are in the same situation he was, and therefore pursued a career in Physical Therapy. John has been practicing PT for almost 15 years and previously worked for a university-based health system where he was the clinical coordinator of outpatient PT and the sports medicine program.
John is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Specialist (OCS), Hip Preservation Rehabilitation Specialist, and an APTA certified Clinical Instructor. Additionally, he is certified in Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and Blood Flow Restriction. John also has a special interest in the treatment of injured athletes, working with weightlifters, non-operative and post-operative cases, and treatment of the shoulder, hip, and knee.
Outside of work, John enjoys weight training, being outdoors, spending time with his family, and working with and coaching his sons in both football and hockey.
