Darlene K., PT, DPT, MS, Clinical Manager of Athol MVPT offers over 20 years of managerial experience in various clinics in Athol, MA and Worcester County. Darlene is a 1987 Graduate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ and Kean University with a Bachelors of Science in Physical Therapy, 1992 Graduate of MGH Institute of Professionals with an Advanced Masters Degree in Sports and Orthopedic Physical Therapy, and a 2002 Graduate with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Darlene is passionate about treating the whole person through holistic Physical Therapy approaches. She offers 37 years of clinical experience treating all age groups from infants to older adults. She provides clients with thorough assessments to address pain, joint dysfunction, balance and functional mobility impairments. She specializes in myofascial release, manual therapy techniques, balance training, functional training, ergonomic work task modification and customized exercise programs.
Darlene enjoys being with her family and dog in the great outdoors, reading and gardening. She enjoys serving her community through church, Relay for Life, and is a retired volunteer EMT. As a lifetime member of the Red Knights International Firefighters Motorcycle Club, MA Chapter 2, she spends a lot of her free time traveling.
