Melissa joined Bay State Salem in August 2022. She attended the University of Texas in Austin where she received her Bachelor’s in Social Work in 2014, followed by her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in 2017. Melissa utilizes a combination of individualized, hands-on therapy in combination with therapeutic exercises and modalities to help patients achieve their goals, lifestyle, and functional needs. Melissa has worked with people recovering from neurological injuries as well as orthopedic conditions, ranging in age from adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
When she is not at work, Melissa enjoys hiking, kayaking, climbing, sand volleyball, gardening, baking, and spending time with her family and Australian Shepherd.
