Linda H.
PT
Location: MVPT Physical Therapy – Chittenango, NY
Linda H., PT, is a 1986 graduate of Russell Sage College in Troy, NY. While growing up in Central New York, Linda lived in a three-generation home. Because her grandparents (and later her parents) were elderly and infirm, she was always surrounded by medical professionals. This led to an early passion for caregiving and compassion for anyone in need of medical attention. Caring for other loved ones with terminal cancer has also helped her to develop a deeper empathy and to connect with others who experience suffering and grief.
Linda has spent her entire career in out-patient orthopedic clinics in New York and West Virginia. To further her education, she also became a certified NYS Paramedic in 1998 and was a volunteer in the DeWitt Fire Department for many years. She participates in continuing education classes such as McKenzie (mechanical diagnosis and treatment of neck and back pain), manual therapy, and post-operative and non-operative treatment of spinal and joint pathologies. She now is certified in ASTYM and Sole Supports Custom Fit Foot Orthotics.
Linda currently lives in Madison County. Her children are adults now, so she has renewed her EMT certification and is on the medical staff at the S.U. Carrier Dome. In her free time, she enjoys travelling, scrap booking and card making.
