Cheryl P., PT, DPT, was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. She graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1999 and has worked in a variety of settings both in New York State and New Mexico including a group home for developmentally disabled children and adults, school-based PK-12 and early intervention, as well as outpatient, inpatient, home care and subacute settings. Currently, Cheryl is concentrating in pelvic floor rehabilitation. She has been trained through Herman and Wallace to evaluate and treat both male and female patients. In 2018 she was invited by Herman and Wallace to assist their manual therapy course and has been offered other opportunities to assist in additional pelvic floor courses as well.
Coupled with enthusiasm and a nurturing approach, she is grateful to be able to work with patients with pelvic related pain, impairment and disorders. She strives to help them feel safe, valued, motivated and to achieve their greatest potential.
In her personal life Cheryl enjoys time with her husband and three children and being present in their activities and interests. She enjoys staying active by taking fitness classes, playing club soccer, being outdoors, and camping. Cheryl also devotes much of her personal time to spiritual growth in her church by participating in bible studies and assisting in youth ministries.
