DPT
Location: MVPT Physical Therapy – Hamburg, NY
Kristina R., DPT, received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Ithaca College. She spent the majority of her life playing sports including soccer, lacrosse, rugby, and hockey. This is where her interest in studying physical therapy or athletic training stemmed from. She ultimately decided on physical therapy because of how much variety there is in the profession.
Not only are physical therapists capable of treating various conditions, but they are also able to help and work with a wide range of patient populations, which includes athletes. She has clinical interest in treating concussions, orthopedic conditions, post-operative conditions, and neurological conditions. She has experience working in skilled nursing facilities, acute care, and outpatient settings. Outside of physical therapy, she enjoys hiking, baking, painting, and crocheting.
