Cat S., PT, DPT, believes in empowering individuals to reach their full potential through active, resilient living. With a strong foundation in health, recreation, fitness, and sport, she understands that high-level function is built through a balance of strength, endurance, flexibility, and adaptability. Cat views physical therapy as a powerful pathway for helping people develop these qualities and is passionate about guiding patients throughout their wellness journeys.
Cat earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Vermont and a Master of Exercise Science from Northeastern University. She holds multiple fitness and coaching certifications, including ACSM Certified Personal Trainer, USA Triathlon Coach, U.S. Masters Swimming Coach, and ACE Group Exercise Instructor. Her professional background spans personal training, group exercise instruction, and endurance sports coaching with organizations such as the YMCA of Greater Boston, Harvard University, Equinox Sports Club Boston, YMCA of Greater Providence, and Brown University.
Her clinical focus is sports and orthopedic physical therapy, with a special passion for working with athletes of all ages returning to recreational or competitive sport. Cat enjoys supporting runners, cyclists, swimmers, and individuals training toward specific fitness goals. She has clinical experience in orthopedic and sub-acute rehabilitation and completed internships at Boston Children’s Hospital, contributing to cardiac exercise testing, pediatric fitness programs, and growth-mindset research, and at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center under direction of Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. Outside the clinic, Cat maintains an active lifestyle with her partner, enjoying running, cycling, swimming, skiing, strength training, kayaking, and hiking.
