Tyler was born and raised in Syracuse and has always been drawn to health, movement, and helping people. He earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Syracuse University and his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University.

Before becoming a physical therapist, he worked as an EMT, spent time in biopharmaceutical manufacturing, and was involved in research, all of which gave him a broad perspective on healthcare. Tyler chose physical therapy because it blends science, movement, problem-solving, and meaningful relationships with patients. What excites him most is helping people not only recover from pain or injury but also build confidence and return to the activities they enjoy.

Clinically, he’s especially interested in orthopedics, injury recovery, and fitness-focused rehabilitation. Tyler’s treatment style emphasizes education, movement, and realistic strategies that fit into daily life so patients can create lasting progress.

Outside of work, he enjoys strength training, spending time outdoors, cooking with his wife, and learning about health, wellness, and business. One thing Tyler wants patients to know is that he genuinely enjoys connecting with the people he works with. Physical therapy is not just about exercises to him—it’s about building trust, making the process enjoyable, and helping you feel confident every step of the way.
