Andrew joined the MVPT team in April of 2024 and is the Managing Partner of the Biddeford, ME location. For the first 10 years of his career, and before moving to New England, he exclusively treated in outpatient orthopedic settings all throughout North Carolina. Andrew is a hands-on therapist who utilizes his extensive background in anatomy, kinesiology and biomechanics to form and complete an individualized plan of care for each of his patients. Andrew is an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certified through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and the American Physical Therapy Association. This certification represents Andrew’s advanced clinical knowledge, skill and experience in orthopedics. Andrew is also a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist (CMTPT) who has been practicing trigger point dry needling since 2015. Additionally, he holds the designation of Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength & Conditioning Association since 2014. This unique combination of experience and education gives Andrew a distinctive approach to how he helps his patients achieve their dynamic and functional goals.
In 2014, Andrew earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Washington University in St. Louis where he studied the Movement System Impairment (MSI) methodology for rehabilitation. In 2011, Andrew graduated magna cum laude from Elon University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science.
In his leisure time, Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife, son, daughter and dog. He can be found on the golf course, hiking in the woods, or relaxing on the beach.
