Nadia S., PT, DPT, graduated from the University of Delaware with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Nadia has always enjoyed the medical field, but the one-on-one time with a patient on a weekly basis to get to know them and restore their mobility is very satisfying. She believes that Physical Therapy is one of the fields where you can help a person from the moment they are hurt to the moment they recover back into good health, which is a rewarding experience to be a part of.
Nadia has almost 20 years of experience as a PT, 15 of which have been spent treating her clinical interest which is pelvic health. It is a body part that is not talked about a lot, despite there being such a need for discussion. She enjoys treating pregnant and post-partum moms, perimenopause and menopause women, and post-surgical gynecological conditions. Her favorite thing to treat is urinary incontinence and educating her patients on how it is not normal to “pee” when you laugh, jump, or cough.
Outside of work, Nadi enjoys skiing and watching a good hockey game in the winter and relaxing at the beach in the summer.
