Alyssa C., PT, DPT is a Lead Physical Therapist at MVPT in Hamburg, NY. She graduated from Daemen College in 2013 with her Doctor of Physical Therapy after completing her Bachelor of Science in Natural Science. She has worked in outpatient orthopedics since graduation, and she joined MVPT in 2025. Alyssa treats all musculoskeletal disorders and post-surgical patients, and she focuses on using a combination manual techniques and exercise to decrease pain and optimize function.
Alyssa has completed McKenzie and Mulligan coursework, which are specialized techniques for treating disorders of the spine and peripheral joints. She is a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist through PCES, and she enjoys helping moms of all ages recover from the herculean task of growing and raising children. And, as a retired dance teacher, Alyssa is well equipped to treat injuries in all performing artists.
Outside work, Alyssa is a wife and mom to two young children. She enjoys cooking, baking sourdough bread, gardening, reading, exercising, and spending time her family and friends. She plans to run her first half-marathon since becoming a mom within the next year!
