Charmi S., PT, holds a Master’s degree in Sports Physical Therapy and a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from India. She has authored two international publications focused on football injury prevention and has extensive clinical experience treating a wide range of patients, including athletes, adolescents, adults, and the geriatric population.
In addition to owning and operating her own clinic in India, Charmi gained valuable experience at an outpatient clinic in Manhattan, New York. Her clinical expertise includes orthopedic rehabilitation, injury prevention, pre- and post-operative care, and the treatment of sports-related injuries. She utilizes a variety of evidence-based techniques, such as manual therapy, soft tissue mobilization, neural tension release, taping, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), and cupping therapy. Also, incorporates therapeutic exercise, neuro reeducation, therapeutic activity to the rehabilitation plan.
Charmi’s passion for physical therapy began after witnessing her mother’s recovery from chronic back pain and her return to an active lifestyle through dedicated treatment. This personal experience continues to inspire her mission: to enhance each patient’s quality of life through personalized, compassionate care. She remains committed to staying current with the latest research to deliver the highest standard of evidence-based treatment.
Outside of her professional work, Charmi maintains an active lifestyle through yoga, badminton, biking, pickleball, volleyball, hiking, and dancing. She also enjoys traveling, playing board games, and spending time with family and friends.
