David Keys

David joined Cypress Health Partners (CHP) as its Chief Growth Officer (CGO) in February 2025. Prior to CHP, David’s career has spanned more than two decades across entrepreneurship, advisory, development, and strategy within healthcare services. Most recently, David was Chief Development Officer for Acadia Healthcare, the nation’s leading, focused behavioral health company.

Previously, David was a managing director at Truist Securities and BB&T Capital Markets, where he provided mergers and acquisitions advisory services to behavioral health and physician practice management companies.

Along with two partners, David founded and developed a tech-enabled provider of patient monitoring and treatment adherence services for individuals suffering from substance use disorders. Prior advisory and entrepreneurial experience included establishing a health, wellness, and education advisory team at a boutique investment bank and working as an early member of the Healthcare & Life Sciences team at Harris Williams & Co. David earned his undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, as well as the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

He and his wife live in Richmond, Virginia, with their two daughters. David serves on the advisory board of Gateway Homes, a non-profit organization that provides residential assistance and transition to independent living for individuals with serious mental illness.
