Emma D., PT, DPT, from Bangor, ME, graduated from Husson University with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2025 after receiving a B.S. in Exercise Science in 2023. Within her graduate program, Emma worked as a lab assistant in various courses where she provided educational assistance and mentorship to other students. Emma’s clinical experiences include outpatient orthopedics and inpatient rehabilitation contributing to knowledge and exposure to several musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary and other conditions of various complexities.
Emma has a strong professional interest in growing her orthopedic knowledge and skill and obtaining various certifications including dry needling. She values strong patient-therapist collaboration, and teamwork to promote optimal patient outcomes. During her free time, Emma enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her cat Phoebe, staying active outdoors, watching football, and traveling to explore new places.
