Isaiah P.
PT, DPT, CSCS
Location: MVPT Physical Therapy – Auburn, NY
Isaiah P., PT, DPT, CSCS graduated SUNY Upstate Medical University with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
In high school, a knee injury left Isaiah devastated with doctors predicting arthritis by age 20 and advising him to give up sports. The physical therapy he received not only helped him recover, but also transformed his outlook on his future. This experience with physical therapy ignited his passion for helping others overcome similar challenges. While working as a personal trainer during college, Isaiah realized that to make a broader impact and deepen his expertise, physical therapy was the perfect path. His own journey from a worried teenager to a committed professional solidified his dedication to this field, and he is driven to be the change for his patients that his physical therapists were for him.
Isaiah has had experience in several settings, including acute care, outpatient neuro rehab, and outpatient orthopedic. As a personal trainer and certified strength and conditioning specialist, he has a unique skillset to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and performance training. This allows him to create personalized, evidence-based programs that not only address injuries and recovery, but also enhance overall functional strength and athletic performance. Isaiah’s diverse background enables him to approach each patient holistically, incorporating advanced strength training techniques with traditional physical therapy to promote optimal recovery and long-term wellness.
His clinical interests involve the management of all musculoskeletal conditions, sport-related injuries, and aches and pains of active adults.
In his free time, he enjoys disc golfing, weight lifting, fishing, hiking, camping, watching movies (especially keeping up with the Marvel Universe), and spending time with friends and family.
