Monica k., PT, DPT, is a Physical Therapist at MVPT Physical Therapy New York in Tonawanda, New York. She joined Sports Physical Therapy of New York in October 2019, which then became part of the MVPT family in August 2022.
In May of 2019, Monica graduated from the University at Buffalo with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Since then, she has participated in continuing education earning certifications in Graston Technique® (M1 Training) and Comprehensive Vestibular Rehabilitation. She has also completed several courses in TheraBand® Kinesiology Taping and acted as a clinical instructor for volunteer students and students in Doctor of Physical Therapy programs. Her favorite reasons for being a physical therapist are the lifelong learning, teamwork setting and helping individuals attain their functional goals.
Monica is from the Western New York area and outside of work, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, traveling, reading as well as spending time with family and friends!
