Location: MVPT Physical Therapy – Pittsford, NY
Rachel W., PT, DPT, is a 2025 graduate of Nazareth University, where she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. She completed her undergraduate studies at Niagara University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology while competing as a Division I lacrosse athlete. Her passion for physical therapy is shaped by both her academic training and personal experience recovering from five patellar dislocations and, on a separate occasion, a displaced tibia/fibula fracture. Having been on both sides of rehabilitation, she brings empathy and a strong patient-centered approach to her care.
Rachel has clinical experience in outpatient orthopedics, neurological rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and inpatient acute care. Her interests include neurological conditions, vestibular dysfunction, geriatrics, and a wide range of orthopedic conditions. Outside the clinic, she volunteers with the WNY Wreckers Wheelchair Rugby team, serves as a certified United States Wheelchair Rugby Association referee, and hosts inclusive community events through Endless Highway. She is committed to helping every patient feel stronger, more confident, and capable throughout their rehabilitation journey.
