Rafael grew up in Brooklyn, NY and began his studies in healing at SUNY New Paltz, focusing on crisis and trauma management. He later got his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Stony Brook University in a field which merges “the science of healing with the art of caring.”
Rafael’s work focuses on creating partnerships to discover the sources of pain and discomfort, using hands-on techniques and guided movement training to improve independence and quality of life. In his free time, Rafael enjoys studying martial and internal arts, playing drums and spending time with his dog.
