PT, DPT
Location: MVPT Physical Therapy – Tonawanda, NY
Zach P., PT, DPT graduated from D’Youville University with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in addition to his Bachelors of Science in Exercise Sports Studies.
Zach was first introduced to the physical therapy profession when he injured his knee many times throughout middle school and high school. He loved the ability to build relationships with patients and really make an positive impact on their day to day function. Zach enjoys helping others achieve their highest level of function and getting them back to participating in their favorite hobbies without pain.
He completed his clinical rotations in Rochester and Buffalo, with his last clinical being here at MVPT Tonawanda. During his clinicals, he enjoyed having the opportunity to shadow a surgeon for a full day to see what actually occurs in the operation room. He spent clinical time in homecare with patients who were 1-3 days post-surgery. He was able to help them with general mobility when in this acute post-surgery phase.
Zach’s clinical interests include various orthopedic and sports cases, as well as balance because improving balance can make a huge difference in an individual’s day to day life.
In his free time, Zach likes to go golfing, play hockey, listen to music, and spend time with family at their cottage.
