PT, DPT, CLT

Location: MVPT Physical Therapy – Saratoga Springs, NY

Graduate: University of New England

Zachary V., PT, DPT grew up in Attleboro, MA. Zac developed his interest in becoming a physical therapist when he himself underwent physical therapy for a couple years as a young adult. Additionally, he grew up with family members who had physical disabilities and spent several summers working at The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp for children undergoing terminal illness.

His passion for helping children and advancing functional fitness led him to earning his Certified Personal Training License, and later getting his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) at the University of New England in Portland, ME. Following his formal schooling, he pursued post-professional certification in Complete Lymphatic Draining and Vodder Technique (CLT). His clinical interests are in the areas of pediatrics, vestibular conditions and concussions, and oncology and lymphatic drainage. He also served as the Federal Affairs Liaison for the state of RI of 3 years and is now actively involved in the NYS Physical Therapy Association.

Zac’s treatment style is great for athletes with pains and/or movement impairments that prevent them from exercising at their full capacity, post-surgical patients, as well as patients who are looking to achieve more efficient movement strategies to help them become more proactive in their health and restore prior levels of function. Zac wants his patients to return to their passions!

When not in the clinic, Zac is likely in his woodshop, out in his garden, or can be found on the volleyball court. Other hobbies of his include skiing and photography.
