Jackie attended the University of New England in Maine for both her Bachelor’s in Applied Exercise Science and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. After graduating from physical therapy school, Jackie moved to Houston, TX to participate in Harris Health’s 13 month Orthopedic Residency Program. In this setting, she was able to work with a diverse, medically complex, and underserved patient population. During residency, she also taught at local PT schools, collaborated with orthopedic surgeons, and studied countless hours to broaden her knowledge in orthopedics.
Jackie has been working in the outpatient orthopedic setting since 2018 and has obtained her Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) designation, mentored PT students, and participated in many continuing education courses. When Jackie is not treating patients, she loves watching her beloved Patriots (she is from MA so give her some slack!), working out and instructing exercise classes, and checking out local breweries! She is new to the area so is welcoming recommendations!
